Purple taters and carrots are a fine winter veggie dish! I use those and the yellow carrots to make fun side dishes during the winter times for dinner parties Taste the same, but make it look like I'm Birdie Stuart.

 

I love fancy rainbow carrots, they taste way better (even though they taste the same)

 

It's cause they make you feel classy AF.

The delight I get to feel when I make an obnoxious hostess statement like, "I hope you enjoy this winter carrot melange over smashed garlic purple potatoes," is obscene. The key is the really chirpy and peppy hostess voice to go with the statement.

We have some friends who always show up early to dinner parties so they can stand in the kitchen and watch me cook and ask me questions.
