Plumber gets here, isn't actually a plumber, is just the friend of our landlady who is "handy."

Is convinced I'm "imagining" the water coming up thru the floors at times (like, specifically when the temp is below freezing and then it warms up thru the day...gee, wonder what's happening there, bucko!). He's basically going to fix the pipe under the sink and ignore the fact our kitchen floor is warping and there is water dripping into the vent cause he claims it's probably my imagination.

There was like an inch of water on the floor this weekend that came thru the floors, while they made a delightful squish noise. His response to my pictures was, "You probably just got more water on the floor when the sink drained than you realized."

Taking bets on how long till my entire kitchen and hallway flood.

Holding off until tomorrow. I want my day to be Wednesday so hopefully the transfer will happen by Friday every week. Except uh... maybe not during the holiday.
