Same for me, if nothing else to build a buffer in case of rejections.

 

There's this thing called "principle" you should look it up. Also, I've never done those, even when I was under 1k. Working for $2/hr is never worth it, not even in some misguided attempt to get "numbers," which literally do not matter at all when you're a survey main, anyway. Your time is better spent learning js, sending out generic "ples gibbe qual" emails, improving your workflow, or doing literally anything that isn't fucking $1.50/hr garbage made to exploit workers from countries with a much lower minimum wage/cost of living than the USA.

Where does he say low-paying work? His post says do things you wouldn't normally do. I 100% agree with the principle of not doing underpaid work because it hurts the platform and workers overall, but when it's slow it is a good time to step out of your comfort zone and try out other batches that you might not usually focus on. Maybe I'm misunderstanding his post, but I don't see anywhere that he implies doing underpaid work unless I've missed something.

Absolutely none. These cowards don't even allow for a feedback box at the end so you can tell them they're underpaying and likely getting poor data at the second half because the survey is so punishingly long. Even if you're trying, and I always do, it is very hard not to let your attention wander in a seemingly endless and ungratifying task.

frosted lakes are a subpar cereal. If you want a good cereal with flakes Have good ol' non-overly-sweetened Post Raisin Bran. It's got the perfect amount of crunch, and chewy at the same time Frosted flakes only has crunch, or when it's been sitting too long - soggy.

Just go with raisin bran instead

So, I haven't clicked the orange strip of doom yet - I have three ?'s (apologies if these have been answered).

1. If there is a balance in the Amazon Payments account, will that then transfer as a lump sum after I set up everything and it makes the
1st transfer - as in, will it empty out and transfer ALL current funds from Amazon Payments to the bank? Or... is there an option to withdraw a certain amount?

Which leads to my next question-

2. Will Amazon Payments be no more as far as being able to be used for purchasing on Amazon.com? That's why I asked above if everything from the account will be transferred because I like to have some $ in there at all times to buy things and not use a credit card.

3. And finally, thinking of a friend's situation - What about those turking on a family member's account (live in same house/same last name).
I saw in the email it stated that the bank account needs to be the same as the name of the MTurk account. So, I guess that means they
won't be able to transfer to their own bank account anymore, but instead to their family member's and then just do something via the bank
to transfer that back to their account (sounds like a hassle or potentially problematic). I know there are others in a family who turk under
one account, just wondering how they will now do the bank issue if they have been transferring to a bank in a name not the same as the
MTurk account.
