$7.25/hr is the federal minimum wage, yes, but there are many states that are increasing it, and many areas where it isn't really sufficient to live on anymore. Also, we still have to pay self-employment tax, so getting paid 7.25/hr is actually far less than we actually get paid, especially given that we have absolutely zero benefits as workers on the Amazon Mechanical Turk platform.

 

Oh, well, I mean, technically I am dying; we're all dying, right? So, yeah, go ahead and leave that GoFundMe page. It'll go to a worthy cause, I assure you! Lol
