Wow that sounds terrible.

 

They're great! These always made me particularly happy, when available. I've been told there's a new version, which I haven't tried yet. ( :

 

It just didn't rise, like at all. It never felt right throughout the whole process, but I'm not totally sure why - I'm thinking the starter wasn't really ready? The dough was super wet and loose, wouldn't hold any sort of shape. I let one loaf proof on the counter for 3-4 hours, and let another proof in the fridge for about 14 hours, and the fridge loaf was a bit better - the crust tasted pretty great honestly, but was suuuper dense inside. We're going to try again this weekend, though! This time, after prepping with some youtube videos instead of just written instructions.
