Ya'll should come to the Midcoast. Good fishing. Nice people (for the most part) and if you really wanted to live on an island ya got that option too.

 

That does sound good. Not many friendly faces in my area. So many people squished into a small area. Our plan is to be gone within two years. We have to wait, my 16 year old is finishing up High School first.

 

I love this. I grew up digging worms in Wisconsin. My husband is a gas station tub of worms guy with a cooler. (Also his fam is from Missouri and they all own Bass Fishing boats... so there is some competition there.. )
We spend two weeks every summer on some awesome muskie lakes in Wisconsin and he has yet to snag one. After a million casts

I can completely understand living in a fishbowl and - because I grew up in Metro-Detroit and not a tiny town - it was a long hard adjustment to everybody knowing everybodies business 24/7 for me.

We've found a nice balance here in the midcoast in that you can be a little remote, do your own thing and fish, etc and don't have to be so squished.

 

That must hurt not having caught one. Sounds great.

 

Well - it hurt his arm. Every year.
He was out last summer with my cousin who caught a muskie - so it's his entire goal at this point.
Even the nieces and nephews are all out on boats trying to help their uncle catch the muskie
(It didn't help last summer that my tiny 10 year old niece pulled up a giant Pike on her Disney Frozen Fishing pole )

Yeah, i would be bummed out. i have had many trips being the only one out of 4 to not even getting a bite.

My second deposit hit my bank yesterday at 11:14 PM... BofA is weird.

 

I would be at my 2nd also. Some reason though my bank blocked the first payment. I just assume its a holiday and my bank is small.

 

Yeah - he's pretty resilient. I would have been bummed too - but he's determined.
Hauled up a whole fish fry for the fam of perch, etc - cooked them up, but still got up at dawn and kept casting for that muskie.

If your routing # is correct, then that's probably the case. I would give them a call though if your second deposit gets bounced too.

I'm guessing, because we may be dealing with the same banks, they are just super slow and you'll have to jump through a few hoops in person.

I try to go with the kids as much as we can in the summer. We go to a pond that's full of Bluegill and a Bass here and there. All catch and return. It gets a lot of run off from the main mall parking lot. Dont trust it. lol
