You think it's funny to see a cat scared for its life? Do you enjoy strangling kittens and shooting random dogs with BB guns too? That's what my neighborhood kids enjoy doing. They also laughed when their dog killed my cat. Keep your dog on a leash if he's chasing the neighbor's cat. Unless you want someone to call animal control on him.

It's 2 boxes, so $30/ea and that's no more expensive than the garbage pail I got at petsmart thinking "oh any old box will be fine"

It's okay, I once fell for this too when I was first buying stuff for King. He chewed up that bed within 2 weeks. Never again. Frickin' jackass dog.

 

Also a great thing to get them to do is take care of a plant*. Get a Fittonia at first. They show their need for water quickly without killing them right away. It's a great way to get them into taking care of something personally. It's something I 100% plan on doing when I have a kid myself. And Fittonia (never plants) come in a lot of colors!

*When child is like 3-5 I understand a baby might not be able to take care of a plant yet
