    there is no way to switch to the new mturk payment system on my ipad. on the ipad, mturk defaults to having all mturk earning disbursed as an amazon gift card every 7 days. they didn't make it so the boxes can be checked/unchecked to change the options.

    Coffee is my big splurge item, because I try to always get free trade and/or rainforest certified, so this is not the most budget friendly in general but Equal Exchange is one of the more affordable hippy-ish brands if you're into that.

    I'd look for a local roaster, honestly.

    Amazon, particularly in food items doesn't always have the best value. And yes, I buy whole bean and grind.

    I do, but I haven't bought any online yet. I feel similarly. I was interested in Onyx from Reddit suggestions, but haven't gone for it. It seems pretty pricey to me. My favorite one so far is from Sprouts though.
