    The back little room that was added on my house by a previous owner is below grade (the inside floor is below ground level) and the cement is not thick enough so when it rained hard during the floods here the water came in that room and then in my man cave. I put down ceramic tile only to have the contractor tell me it was permeable. So, when it rains to flood levels I throw down instant barriers that blow up when the water hits them just to save my man cave carpet

    I remember you posted a picture a few weeks ago of the flooding at it was interesting to see.
    Oh, I hope that doesn't seem weird. I would never want your house to flood or for you and yours to be in any danger... Yikes!

    The water dropped a bit from those first pictures but started to rise again quickly with all the rain. Our problem is it's delayed since water from the north comes this way. It may seem fine here and then one morning we're trapped.
