Knee brace was a no go would have been perfect if I hadn't had so many surgeries on my leg it is meant to contour around the leg and m leg is not shaped normally so have to find one that will give me the lateral support on the side but more forgiving on the shape of the leg it is going around

Fresh off the weeb presses! This is right up my jams

 

A while ago I broke/crushed my knee skiing (3 surgeries, etc.) and instead of a cast, my surgeon had me wear a brace that was like a very firm spandexy-like material with metal rods on each side. I was able to take it off and on (like for showers) as I needed to but it was very, very supportive.

I tried to find a picture of it but it's been long enough that I can't remember exactly what it looked like. I googled "surgical knee brace" and clicked on images and yeah, a lot of those looked really familiar - not the super-robot looking ones, but the ones that have the "fabric." Would something like that help you?

 

I'm subscribed to the Grounds & Hounds monthly coffee subscription and they sent me a bandana with the coffee of the month (which is Puppy Bowl blend), and Jack feels sooo special wearing it today
