    Yeah. We just had 3 inches. Shoveled fast and now the ice-balls and then snow coming behind it.
    I don't mind the snow, or just the rain. But when they combine it's a meeeessssss.
    At least logging some bicep workouts with the shovel :)

    If he's almost an adult treat him like one... Let him lose the job and when he does lock the wifi, no fun amenities, no input on food/what you guys are cooking, no nothing. Growing up comes with the serious side effect that no one cares about your personal problems and the sooner he learns that the better. It's a horribly harsh lesson to learn but everyone has to face it. When he moves out his landlord isn't going to care that he overslept and lost a job.

    You can't teach motivation usually.

    Consistently reinforce and support all the good and responsible behavior he does well. Teenagers don't want to admit it but they do rely on parents in a big way to develop their sense of self. The more the good behavior is reinforced, supported and encouraged and the more positive feedback they receive from us, the more their reward system will kick in for exhibiting responsible behaviors and they will seek out that feedback.
