Okay another love/hate rant about xlab concluding with a question for y'all.
Love: How often the batches have been dropping and how quick to do, fast approval, and well paid they are.
Hate: A certain percentage of them are literally impossible to do, at least for me. There is just NOTHING to extract from some of them! And the workers who annotated the people were clearly determined to annotate every possible thing they could. Like a taxidermy bear. Or the one I just skipped, where person 1 was an actual person and person 2 was their shadow on the wall behind them.
Okay, here's the question: Those of you who work on these, what do you do with the impossible ones? Do you skip them, or do you just reach? I've noticed with the before and after one's where they provide you with an event provided by another turker from a previous hit, some people do just that. Some of the events are invented out of thin air, like a person staring out of the window, and the event is "1 is contemplating his mortality and the futility of life". What do you all do with the fairly impossible ones?
