I had a lot going for me that year. Allergic to everything and then I needed glasses because I couldn't see the chalkboard that was about two feet from my seat. Top that off with the frizzy perm that every girl had that year and I was a hot mess LOL

 

After I finished and received a code, it looped to the beginning- hopefully it wasn't glitched on their end

 

Oh I didn't even get a code, I'm just stuck in an infinite loop

 

I feel ya! Headgear. Neckgear. Glasses that I had to wear to read. Sported a bunch of knee socks and zip up sweater hoodies.

This is either 5th or 6th grade. It was a lovely time (my glasses were off because it was recess).

My mom gave me the opposite of a frizzy perm (as I already had wildly curly hair)- SHE DECIDED A BOB BOWL LIKE HAIRCUT WAS A SOLID IDEA...and I got glasses and braces the same week...she then tried to chemically straighten my hair and all it did was give me an afro. She dropped me off with my dad and didn't even come to the door, cause I looked lke a tiny disaster and he was pisssssed. I had to wear handkerchiefs to keep my mass of hair down...this led to my sister grabbing me and flipping me over to show her friends how she could sweep the floor with my hair at least twice a week for the next few years. This led to me popping up in bed when Matt touched my hair once and screaming, "NOBODY TOUCHES BIRDIE'S HAIRRRRR!"

Only my parents thought so, lol. No BOYS liked me. I was boy crazy at a young age (but too shy to actually approach any).

I had stick legs and nothing going for me until my sophomore year of high school, lol.

I still can't figure out why I was sitting on the bench that way. It's clear my feet don't hit the ground and I was so bony that had to hurt my backside. Looking at it now makes me cringe, lol.

 

Aww. That does look like my Spence! Who is, finally, coming back to life. I think he just finished his hibernation period as all he has done is sleep, eat, and use the potty box for weeks now. Last night he actually played with cat toys.
