I get this glorious quiet time after I wake up...and then as soon as Matt wakes up, I hear, "PANCAKESSSSSS?! PANCAKESSSS AND COFFEE?" This wakes the dogs up who hear about the pancakes. This wakes all the cats up wh hear the dogs. Sigh

 

I just make eggs and tell everyone in my house to suck it.

I was at dinner with my friend on thursday and I realize my phone has 4 missed calls and texts.



I call him back, tell him he can either feed them now or I'll feed them when I get home in like 30 minutes. He responds, "So...do I need to feed them or not? How much do they eat? When do they eat?...what do they eat exactly?"

Dave knows I seldom eat breakfast and he'll be like
are you making something for breakfast.
me: wasn't planning to
Dave: oh i'm hungry
me: K i'm busy
Dave: too bad no one loves me
me (eye roll) if you want eggs ask for them
Dave : could you make me some eggs
a few minutes later
me: here are your eggs
Dave that's not the kind of eggs I wanted

I really do love him but sometimes I'd like to turn him off

 

You should try that with Matt when he wants pancakes. He'll screech about pancakes for so many consecutive hours that you'll find yourself making them just to make it stop.

 

I never knew so many women had to deal with this.......I'm a man and I cook dinner everyday, feed animals, wash clothes, clean up my house etc etc...

 

I feel that one in my soul!

 

I have recently gone to egg whites only in my pancakes and whipping them, not beating, but hand whipping. Those little suckers are like half an inch thick

 

Pre-made microwaveable pancakes?

Ohh, I did that last month for him! I made them the shape of giant dog bones, he didn't think it was as funny as I did.

 

I have a waffle iron I love my fresh Belgian waffles
Dave prefers Eggo waffles and complains when I make them from scratch

 

Man I have all this stuff, waffle maker, kitchen aid etc etc, half the time I never use them because it takes longer lol.

 

I always say my house is not a restaurant. I don't hand out menus and take orders. You get what you get!

 

I want a kitchen aid but first I need a kitchen with more than one counter

 

My wife wanted the kitchen aid because she likes to do baking stuff...I still feel like I'll end up using it more.
