    You'd think the people at Coke could make the best energy drink in the world, wouldn't you?
    But my guess is that the typical big-business thing happened. Hundreds of executives were under serious pressure to compete with the the energy drink producers who beat them to the punch. And they were under 'time-pressure' to come up with something before the stockholders became uneasy. So, they released an inferior product because like most big business they're more concerned with their shareholders than their customers.
    I find this whole modern situation very upsetting.
    P.S. Also, Coke did once make the best energy drink in the world, but they're not allowed to do it anymore! :)

    I used to collect old soda bottles for a while.
    7-Up's version of the Coke thing was 'lithium', although unlike Coke, they listed it right in the ingredients!
