a while back I picked up a metric shit ton of gallon jugs of apple cider vinegar for 25 cents each. So for the past couple years - that's been my drain de-clogger, toilet bowl cleaner, countertop wiper, all-purpose cleaner, etc...

 

Wut? Dawn is good for the pipes! And it's what they use to clean oil off of all the shore birds when there is an oil spill!!! It's not bad for the environment. And it saves me on plumbing cost.

Grease goes in the drippings can... to season the fry pan later... or fry some taters in... or ... #confused southern is confused.

 

I do my sink as that's the closest to the main sewer line. The toilet is upline, if that makes sense? Actually, the toilet is the first in the line, then my kitchen sink, then my laundry room...so I do it to what I think gets the Dawn to any clogs the fastest.

 

I feel like people aren't even skimming over these csmr articles. They're just selecting random actions.

 

Yes. I never deliberately put grease down my drain. Ever. I have bacon grease in my fridge.

However. I do wash greasy dishes, and after a while it just builds up. Can't get ALL the grease drained off!

Yes, but since the virus preppers of Georgia have decided that since it will fight grease it will fight anything, it is sold out here. So I'm almost out while you are just pouring it down the drain

 

Yeah that's why we use it on the plumbing. It's seriously what they use in oil spills. We checked ingredients and felt good about it. We're pretty cautious about what we put down our drain, on our lawns, etc. Also it's much, much better than the stuff our original plumber was using.

 

meanwhile I'm up here in Kentucky like "whatever. Wash your hands. Washwashwash your hands... wash your hands and avoid people..."

I'm good at those two things for sure.

 

We can only hope some of them will decide flamethrowers are another method of fighting the virus.

Edit - I am pouring a drop here and there into the toilet. But only because otherwise I'd have a lot worse issues with flooding (literal) crap into my living room. Which we've found isn't super awesome for health and well-being in general.
