Nah, same here. YouTube video won't load, or will load slowly.

 

I returned my Wills cause I had to return one that would not play all the vids- kept getting stuck on the 7th one or so- I emptied my cache, refreshed 7 or 8 times, closed the page and reopened, etc.-

 

You are officially my hero for the day I thought those were just instructions.. didn't realize we could click them instead of the ones at the bottom.

 

Although since you returned you will be locked out.

 

Dang- I don't know about a purple button on the side, but I did hit the circle refresh button numerous times... Should have come here before returning them all

 

I didn't wanna be locked out of Endor for 10 whole hours... My luck trashies would post on some sort of Sergey $$$ falling from the sky fluke.

 

I never knew how much a touchscreen would change my life...

 

I'm glad that fixed your issue.

You prob are going to be locked out of other google hits until the 10 hour time is over.. (That is why I asked him change to shorter timers awhile ago...)

And people thought I was some sort of devil for attempting to get it to be a shorter timer.... sigh w/e 10 hour is far too long and the 60min or w/e he had it last time was too short... I wish he would just set it to 2 hours like I said.....

(And yes Will does read his email he just won't ever reply)

 

I sent him an email - I'm tired anyway- been at this on and off all day. Did surveys all day cause none of my batches were up- or if they were I missed them doing surveys...I'm beat

 

Hmm, that's interesting. I can't find anything about the software running on ChromeOS, though. I'll need to do a bit of research.

 

Dual boot?

 

Most people I know with chromebooks put linux on them.

I thought about it, but I decided to keep ChromeOS on this one because I really like Google/Android/etc and I'm looking forward to how Google is going to expand upon ChromeOS in the future. It's basically the only Google OS that I hadn't had access to yet.

chrome os is linux , a flavor of linux anyhow.
so is android.

 

Linux with less freedom basically.

I too enjoy Google products (more so than Apple) but it was my understanding that chromebooks lacked processing power and were there almost as a internet browser only.
