it is, its called price fixing/gouging and if reported to the state (i think its weights and measures dept) they can go from fining them to shutting them down. this happened near me when we had that east coast black out years ago. some stations jumped to $5 and $10 a gallon and got reported, people reported, weights/measures came out and (i know this for a fact, it was the one closest to my house) SHUT THEM DOWN. things like this dont go over well

 

boot cut wranglers with the butt patch if I buy new...

but since I buy off the goodwill rack: whatever they got in fat dude with short legs.
