    Totally agree. Lots of dealing with insurance company in the past year for my husband. So frustrating when doctors want to do to a procedure or prescribe a medicine they think will help, but insurance company makes the decision whether to allow it or not.

    We are conducting a two-week academic study to investigate the impact of individual and workplace issues faced by employees on their well-being. For that reason, we are only seeking participants who are currently employed and work at least 20 hours per week. Those who qualify and agree to participate will fill out the initial survey (12-15min - for $0.85USD paid within 7 days). Within 2 days of the completion of the initial survey, participants will receive daily brief questionnaires for the next 14 days (each will take 3-5 min at the end of the day). For each daily questionnaire that is filled out, participants will receive a $.25 bonus ($3.50 total for 14 days). Participants who fill out every daily survey will be paid a $5.00USD bonus for their perfect adherence (instead of $3.50) - all paid within 5 days of the final survey completion. At the end of 2 weeks, we will administer a final survey (5-7 min - $0.85USD bonus, paid within 5 days after the completion). Automatic reminders and electronic links will be sent out to each participant.

    At the end of the final survey, participants will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $10.00 USD bonus payment.

    and yet they waste so much money because of stupid rules. One of my doctors wanted me to wear this brace at night to stretch my knee I only needed it for 1-3 months and could have rented it for $150 a month but the company that rented them was out of network so the insurance company sent me to a place that only sells (not rents) custom made prosthetic and braces Several appointments where required to take molds of my legs then wait several weeks for the brace to be made to the tune of several thousand dollars..... it's laying on the floor in my spare room as I no longer use it.
