My daughter is in college which is obviously closed. Works at Panera and Is the Manager of an ice cream shop from March till October every year. Panera is doing take-out only and has drastically cut her hours and the ice cream shop has push opening back indefinitely. She makes a good bit of her yearly income from the ice cream shop due to a significant difference in hourly pay and getting crazy hours over the summer and now can't even make a fraction of that up working at Panera. She just texted me to see if I knew what she needed to do to get partial unemployment if this keeps up all my kids are going to be moving back home probably with the significant others

 

Oh, I agree...totally...and they are being super careful about everything else. Her mom's Physical therapy from a fall a few months ago was put off.

But the older generation is so stubborn about their hair. It's nuts.

 

I don't know what state you are in, but I know KY has opened unemployment applications on line.

My mom runs her towns museum and was mad when everyone wanted to close it. She insisted on still GOING, but leaving the doors locked. Luckily it's only one day a week but geez people ... just geez.

So back from taking my wife to work they are now taking peoples temperature before they start working.....they took mine cause I have to go in there to help her for a few minutes.....94.6, so either I'm a zombie or they have the best equipment ever to make sure everyone keeps working.

 

I'm hoping too. Just told her I found her the kit and she said great but that she's still going so her stylist can tell her exactly what she needs. Says they are taking temperatures and making them wash their hands, etc. but I'm pissed because we've been busting our ass keeping things clean and safe for her and she wants to just waltz into a germ breeding ground and then bring it home. Ufgh
