I like steak 'n skake okay. The food is alright. I like their chili better than the burgers. Their shakes are good.

I think that was probably the most straight-forward honest laid-back restaurant review I've ever seen!

I envy that though. Sometimes I'd like to live out in the middle of nowhere, but idk. grass is always greener I suppose.

I didn't think anything of it, until I had that job up at the refinery in whiting IN... and could get whatever food I wanted delivered to the place I was staying with the push of a button on my phone. I mean that was kinda nice.

A lot of places outside of major metropolitan areas don't have that. Hell, my own town didn't have it for the longest time and we're not even that tiny.

I grew up in NE Texas in a small town. I hated it as a kid and moved to DFW as soon as could at 18. I had a successful run there until life broughrt me back to earth. I am back in my hometown of smallness and not much now. Kinda wish I was out in the middle of nowhere no and had livestock and a garden and a pond now.
