yep... I am mad at my mom for still going work, she is over 60 and I told her if her office in hospital has canceled all surgery that are elective which is almost all of them she shouldn't be working. But the hospital she works for is floating her around..... I said well, you can't come here.....

 

if I'm at home, I'm barefoot. In the non-snow flip flops is all I wear when in public. In the snow, I begrudgingly wear shoes .

My girlfriend's dad is one of those wackos that wear indoor shoes at home. Mister Rogers style. Takes his shoes off and puts on his indoor shoes. It's the wildest thing.

 

My wife has no choice...

 

Isn't all travel essential? Who would willingly leave their house except under the most dire of circumstances?

I wear flipflops inside because hardwood floors that need to be refinished but that takes $$$

 

yep, hubs and I consider liquor store and grocery only essential at this point.

First thing I do is get them socks off so my feet can inhale and exhale like feet were designed to do to spread valuable oxygen throughout the bloodstream.

I live in flipflops too, to the point that people think it's funny to point out, which makes it awkward. A majority of the time that I wear real shoes, it's just to avoid people saying shit like "haha aren't ur feet cold its only 40 degrees haha so silly u in flipflops haha do u have real shoes? haha" and I'd just prefer to avoid the awkwardness.

 

I hate shoes at home, but the level of anxiety I felt at someone not wearing any shoes in a place people were eating and preparing food...I noped TF out so fast that the bot turned around and I was gone.

It's the only good bakery in like 35 miles of my house and I'm not going to be associated with the shoeless dude

 

The only good shoes are the ones you attach blades to, otherwise, may they rot in hell, along with socks

 

Wife sent me an email she got from work, they are claiming they are an essential business and will not be closing...

This seems like bullshit.

 

I...I have indoor shoes.

well, they're a hybrid slipper...hard sole, soft upper, can actually wear them out if I wanted to...but I take my shoes off when I walk in and put on new footware for inside.

Except in the summer. Too damn hot to wear crap on my feet when it's 104 out.

 

what. the. fuck.

 

My feet are always cold, unless it's summer I thought when I went through the change that would change but nope...my entire body can be having a hot flash but there are blocks of ice below my ankles.
