I got stopped in right as I walked through the door of the doctors office today. Lady came out to take my temperature before I even got all the way inside. Good practice.

 

Ah man that's sweet. There are no paper products in ANY store. Target is the only one even limiting the # of items you can buy (& I will shill for Target no matter what atrocity they commit henceforth because of it) but still no TP/paper towels lol.

My wife is guaranteed to get it so I've just given up hope & crossing fingers it ain't too bad

Felt a bit weird didn't it? I understand and appreciate the way they do it but it is certainly unknown territory.

Target is the only store in my area that's been able to deliver groceries. They've been amazing.

 

Had a better than $0.97/hr. 'side job', so no Toiking today.

The staff there is hilarious too. BY FAR the most "clean" - and I legit think they were being more mindful than at the doc office I went to lol.

The cashiers spray down the belt w/ sanitzer between every customer.. and I think they've taken to liking it because the lady checking me out was hilarious pretending to be one of those runway people guiding in an airplane (except for shopping carts). No clue what Target is paying those folks but it ain't enough.

Went to a "local" grocery store here on Monday (IGA, owned by Sobeys). When you got in, there was an employee washing down every cart and they would spray your hands with the product before you could touch anything. Felt nice. Everything was in stock except some canned goods. There was literally two pallets of TP next to where it usually is. Either because they had no space at the back, or to show people they weren't running out and that they didn't need to stock pile it.

I don't know if you have a Meijer but I was able to get a package of TP there. No paper towels though. They also had lysol. It was amazing and did wonders for my anxiety lol

 

They also have dots on the floor to mark six feet from each other and signs to not move until the person in front of you does. A+. Went to Aldi. Love Aldi. Fucking free for all

 

Now that Costco is giving their people hazard pay less than whatever that is.

Prob less even with target's hazard pay but without costco's.
