You shouldn't just hope it's not. You should assume it is and stay away from people. I understand it's easier said than done, but you shouldnt take risks when it involves the health of others.

I mean even if its not the coronavirus, a fever and a sore throat is not normal and is probably something that you might and should do your best not to spread to others.

 

Yeah, it's probably just my middle aged hot flashy body being all "wtf is happening with our hormones here?"

Plus I'm walking tons more, did almost 4 miles today, so mebbe my metabolism is revving up. (Which would be a great thing to counteract all that cheesecake that accidentally keeps falling into MA mouth.)

 

IF you go out in public YOU should wear a mask. YOU wearing a mask will help not get other people sick. While I say EVERYONE should wear a mask, if you think you are sick you should 100% wear a mask in public.

Doing my best to not be "next" to people. But I am doing shopping for people who are super duper high risk, so really...that alone puts me at risk of getting someone sick. When I deliver I go inside but we don't touch and I don't touch anything. And I go to the post office to keep up with work (have to get the mail, which is where half our bills and rent payments come from) and I completely respect social distancing.

I have no other symptoms really. No cough. No being excessively tired. I do have allergies, which is what my doctor would normally tell me is the cause of the sore throat if it weren't for this virus. (And I get it at this time every year, and am just freaking out about it this year due to...2020 being a fucker.)

I'm doing what I can to be as careful as possible while protecting those at greater risk than me.

If any of us leave the house and go into a public place like a grocery store we are, theoretically, risking others as so many people with the virus are a-symptomatic.

I didn't leave the home for three days after my temp spiked over 100. And it never spiked that high again within 3 days so...

 

I would love more of those right now. I really hope that funding comes through.
