I found my blender in an abandoned house many years ago. Works great as fuck. No issues whatsoever. It's a black and decker.

My girlfriend has some ninja piece of shit that is shaped like an idiot. It works great, but it's shaped like an idiot.

They're both a stainless steel blades attached to a motor. I will never in a million years be convinced that 280 dollars for a used blender is a good deal.

 

A vitamix is in a different class though. It's almost like getting something they'd use in a restaurant.

If you have 280 dollars of expendable cash right now, that's great.
If it's so expendable that you can spend it on a blender, all I can say is "More power to you!"
Still seems like a kind of hurtful message for many of us around here.

 

Not an expert but I bought the same one last year. Completely satisfied. Blends pretty much everything smoothly as long as you use the tamper. Makes my old Ninja and Hamilton Beach blenders look like jokes. Kind of like comparing a Dyson to a $40 Walmart Bissell.
