Is there anything I can do about an unfair rejection or should I just let it go? I already submitted proof to the requester and got ignored.

 

It usually doesn't make sense in terms of value / time wasted if it's just one rejection, but you can contact their university's IRB.

You can keep trying to email.
If it's a survey through an academic institution - you can try to get ahold of the IRB - which oversees academic studies. They're usually incompetent though. You can also find department heads for whatever university the survey may be through. Honestly probably more trouble than it's worth for a 35 cent survey or whatever.

You can also do some internet sleuthing to set up a kidnapping and find an address to send a ransom letter. Also probably more trouble than it's worth for a 50 cent survey, but may be worth it. dunno.

 

This is only worth for surveys > $5. Wouldn't even bother for anything below that.

I have 6 rejections and only deserve 1 of them. The other 5 are cases like you are talking about.

 

I have an even 100 rejections and I've forgotten about every single one of them except for the 25 or so I got from a simple sentiment categorization batch with a hidden direction that said "always pick C for the 2nd question" or some stupid shit like that. Fuck that lady.

I never read the directions, too much work.

 

a few years ago I hit for like 200 rejects from one requester that I went ham on. and they rejected literally every hit everyone submitted.


I had enough to soak it, it was just annoying.

 

Yeah this is my 7th rejection. It was only a 50 cent survey so not a big deal but it bothers me to get rejected for not submitting a survey when I clearly did.
