conversation with husband this morning, now I was still in bed and he woke me up for this. I mean just why, why didn't he just let me sleep in ignorance

Dave: Hey, powers out
Me: hmmm,grumble, grumble at least there's hot coffee (we have a thermal pot with a timer)
Dave: forgot to set that up last night. But there was coffee left from last night and I managed to heat up a cup before the power went out
So I have hot coffee
Me: WTF why did you wake me up then

i'm just lying in bed after staying up since 7pm doing homework... it's nearly 9am now lol :/

i don't feel sleepy, so i'm debating whether or not to stay up and turk some, or work later

My healthcare company was the target of a ransomware attack overnight and is now shut down during a pandemic. It's still pitch black out and stormin' something fierce. The lights are flickering and the greenhouse is wobbling...

It's actually not that far fetched, as soon as things open up again the virus will come back.

 

Montgomery County (next county over, and where my office is located) is particularly bad. In Bucks County (my home) it's been making its way up from south to north (I live further north in the county) and I think we got the first confirmed case in my township about a week ago. Beyond that - we've been pretty diligent about staying at home as much as we can, wearing masks, etc. I don't personally know anyone who's been tested as positive, so kind of holding on to that vague hope.
