i bet like $50 that someone in their QA team came up with the idea to torture players

like achievements are often inspired by the QA team just messing around because they're playing the game so often, they need something so they don't get super bored so they just make up insane achievements

 

You get your champion belt from squats? SQUATS SQUATS SQUATS!

 

I feel like this is an OK game but it would have been a hell of a lot better if the Kingdom Hearts director was not involved. Not sure how a game company can create something as freaking amazing and immaculate as Dragon Quest 11 and then create so many mediocre games. It's bizarre.

Not yet going to trophy farm after I beat it... or just move on to FF8 because I have yet to beat it.

i've had teachers who have worked on stuff tell us about what the process has been like,

there have def been games they've worked on that aren't as good or got scrapped, it's just rarer you hear about those

No way to compare to Treemonisha - but I do really love, love and listen to all the time this version of Blue Drag by the Wiyos. Super old live version but still love it....

 

Think about it this way, at least it isn't the FFV PC port.

 

LOL do you mean those atrocious mobile ports they put on PC? Ffs FF6 was a travesty they way they changed the beautiful sprites in that game to water colored kids drawings.. 6 is by far my fav game of all time.

 

I still haven't played VI after all these years, but IV and V were my favorite for the GBA. At least the IV remake for the DS is good, for a DS game.

 

Oh man please give VI a try. Celes and Locke are so worth it and the opera scene <3

@SunlitSunflower Are you somewhat concerned about the pacing of this game? I've heard it's going to be 3 games. So little ground has been covered in this one I cannot imagine how they will pace the rest of it. Feel like it's either going to have to be much larger than this or they will just cut out a lot.
