Chicken and duck update!
Richard the hen (golden comet) is so aptly named due to being a dick who wont stop pecking her sisters and everything within pecking range. She will hunt you down and peck your toes. Then when scolded peck your pointing finger. When cleaning the crate she will sprint into your hand and peck every freckle she can see. Rudest of the bunch.
Poopy Joe (golden comet) is very loving and enjoys being pet and cuddled. She also enjoys shoulder rides and lettuce.
Inky the hen (Asian black)is very smart and tries to escape at all hours of the day. Very curious to a fault. Is okay with being pet. The other Asian black is huge and stripy and loves to sprint everywhere. Too fat to roost yet. No idea what to name her though.
The 4 Isa browns look 100% identical and all act very skittish. They are getting used to being pet and learning to roost. They love harassing the ducks.

Ducks made such a mess of the crate one day that I said enough it enough. They got put into their own new crate just by themselves so that they can't piss of the chickens. Ducks still hate being pet, picked up, looked at, or really just about anything. They get cute bath time with peas and love to swim and dive. The post bath duck pea poops smell like badly overcooked peas in the worst ways. Turning more white by the day. I really hope that some day I can convince them to not regard me with such suspicion and fear. We think one might be a drake due to size and semi-defensive aggression. We hope we are wrong or else we are having Peking duck for dinner one night.

 

Ugh! Wasn't paying attention and let the $5 Visual Cognition hit expire while I was still doing it. Haven't done that in a long time. Trials were 3 x5 minutes each and I had 20 mins left when I started. Guess they were longer than stated. Hope the requester gives me a comp.

I don't blame you. Any company that accepts a plastic card probably feels no sense of responsibility for the environment at all.

 

No one calls it a Black card... That's just so Visa of you. It's Centurion. Got problems? Call my concierge and tell her to send your concerns to me in a gold leaf envelope. It will match nicely beside my toilet for eventual use should the mountain of TP get stolen by the heathens.

 

Just checked my status again and finally changed to when I should expect my payment. They are supposed to be mailing me a check on April 24th.

I'm on Social Security and have it direct deposited. My federal taxes from doing MTurk were debited from the same bank account this past Monday, so it's not like they don't have my bank info handy.

The only things I can think of is why they decided to mail me a check is because I moved last year and/or the fact that I owed federal taxes. My friend is also on Social Security and filed his taxes as well and received his stimulus payment last week, but he didn't owe federal taxes and didn't move last year.

I only moved about 3 blocks away from my old place and so I didn't move to a different state and/or county.
