Speaking of tax dollars. Due to a grant from the CARES act there are a bunch of major transit agencies in Metro areas that have partnered with Uber to basically give you free or severely discounted trips to and from work. So if you're an essential employee that has to go into a job, you should look into it. Most are only running through May (what the Grant covers) but it's pretty sweet. My agency is charging 60 bucks for the month of May, but 60 bucks gets you about 40-50 rides.
