Good Morning. I'm having a bit of a frustrating morning. When I tried to login to my account, I get this error "There is a problem with your Amazon Mechanical Turk account. This account has been suspended by the Amazon Mechanical Turk team."

I tried emailing them, so I guess I have to wait for them to contact me back. Does anyone know any other ways to contact them to get this fixed a little faster?

 

That sucks, man. You can try contacting them on Twitter. Just @ them.

 

I've been doing this for about 6 years or so, and this is the first time I've had any issues. I will try that as well. Thank you!

Omg @BadPanda that sounds like my worst nightmare. Any advice from @Tripsa or @ChrisTurk ?

 

Kinda lame of them to suspend accounts during the pandemic. Unless someone does something seriously against the rules, obviously, but I don't think that's the case here.

 

I'm really trying not to freak out because I know that Amazon does things on their own time when stuff like this has happened to other people. I just hope they get it resolved soon.

 

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I don't know what the issue is. It would have been nice to get an email or something to tell me why this happened.

 

Just out of curiosity, did you get a bunch of rejections from A9 any time recently?

 

Only solution I've ever seen is emailing relentlessly until they eventually have someone look at it and overturn. Twitter is a good start to getting in touch w/ their US side though.

 

No, I haven't had any mass rejections or blocks from anyone in a very long time. They actually responded to my email very quickly. They said I just need to verify my identity by faxing my ID. I'm not sure why they would need me to do that after 6 years. I really appreciate you guys trying to help me out here.

 

Back when we had the old payout system, Amazon randomly decided that I had to re-verify my bank account every single time I made a withdrawal for like 2-3 months. Just Amazon things, I guess.
