Okay but what if the company doesn't exist any more? Like Troika? Or other extremely old games?

 

Being a video game developer sounds like a straight up nightmare.

 

You can still buy Troika games, I got my copy of Arcanum off GOG. GOG literally exists especially for old games like that, as well.
