    My parents got them for themselves (we all live together) lol. But since I'm home all day, I'm the Puppy Babysitter. They just keep causing mischief! I've had worse problems though, I can't complain too much!

    I went through the instructions to add an exception for them in Safari settings. I updated Java. I click allow on the pop up. When I click the record button it immediately stops and says device not found or something to that effect. In the drop down menus below the demographics, there isn't anything listed for microphone. The drop down list for speakers has default listed.

    I assume Safari is blocking access to my mic. I've tried using the built-in mic and with headphones.

    When you added the exception to the microphone, did you press down on the option key and then uncheck "Run in Safe Mode"?
