Does anyone else here use Chime as their bank?

 

No, but I use Chrome as my browser. Not sure if that helps.

I'm just trying to figure out if it's Chime, or Amazon that keeps holding onto my disbursements. Any day of the week, I get my money around 9 or 10. Except Friday. Even back when we could manually cash out to Amazon Payments, I could get my money on Fridays.

Either my bank, or Amazon is screwing the pooch on Fridays, and I'm half-tempted to change from 3 day payouts to 7 days and set the day for like Wed.

Prolific has zero issues, even on holidays, because it's UK-based and they passed laws against ACH holding onto shit to gain $.000001 in interest times however many dollars are being held because "banking hours" when it's all just 1's and 0's in a computer.

 

Prolific uses PayPal and whatever that other payment system is called. Both of those can transfer money instantly. ACH can't do that, unfortunately. Partly due to security/fraud considerations, partly because it's an old ass system that's too complex and bureaucratic to change.

I'm honestly not sure, but from what I've heard I think their founders are pretty lame and think paying workers $7/hr is great.
