    Hello - I hope everyone is having a good day!

    Quick question from a lowly requester here that I didn't think really fit the other forums. If you're working on a HIT and you don't think you'll finish before it expires, do you tend to submit the HIT with a note and finish the task anyway? Or, do you tend to bail on the task? I love it when people finish our study anyway and contact me, but I was just wondering if a lot of requesters don't honor that work and that's why I see some people bail out.

    (PS - if you're thinking "hey dummy, just make the time allowed for the HIT longer," I'm totally with you. I really only use 'tight' windows if our task needs some simultaneous action and we want to make sure as many people as possible are in it at one time). :)

    I always submit with my ID as the code, and then send a note when I complete it. I've never had a requester reject it for that reason. Most usually send a note thanking me for finishing it. Thanks for coming here and asking though. :emoji_grinning:
