Getting an XBox One X delivered today. Didn't realize it didn't come with the cheap headset anymore. Anyone a gamer to recommend a decent budget headset? I don't want to pay over $50.

I have a Plantronics Rig 400. I am not sure of the price now but I got it for $30 last year.

 

Comfortable? Not to heavy for several hours of play?

 

I like them. They have tree points of adjustment and the headphones actually come off the set so there is less chance of breaking. I have used them for up to 6 hours straight and I haven't had any issues.

I had a expensive set of turtle beach a few years ago... sounded awesome.. could hear footsteps well, good bass, just awesome... but they suffered from bad interference (wireless). I'm thinking of just buying so good bange for the buck wired headphones this time... you are only tethered to the controller. It's still wireless from there. Set the controller down, set the headset down.

Yeah mine were wired since they were cheaper, so maybe why I haven't had that problem. Good to know though!

 

ATHxM50s imo. I've had them for 2-3 years and they are rocking like they day I bought them. My ONLY issue is that the material on the ears sheds after a while but you can just take it all off with some tape in one go when it starts. I LOVE these things. Husband and I both swear by them.

 

I just make them cry. *shrug*
