If I could go back and change anything in my life, I wouldn't. But, I'd love to go back to the past and tell myself: I'm you from the future. All this stuff you're worrying about all works out fine. Even the really hard, sucky stuffy works out. Everything ends up fine.

I think "future me" is the only one that "past me" would believe. Since I can't go back to the past, I tell myself that now and I believe it.

 

The life struggles are temporary thing is really important to me. I would sit and stress and worry over things that in the end didn't even last for a week.

I take a lot of notes. I write everything down. Calendars. Notebooks. To do lists. Saving pictures of things (sizes of things to remember, my car's VIN, where I parked, what time/date I did something I want to track). Random thoughts. Lists. All of the lists. Old school pen and paper (in addition to spreadsheets). What day did I do -- What did I plant -- Where was this -- What was that word I learned -- What movie did I want to watch -- What did I get xyz for Christmas 3 years ago -- When did I have this meeting -- When did I call Comcast and what did we do -- When did I go to whatever concert?

I will never look back on 99.9% of it, but when I do have to/want to, I am so grateful I'm a thought/information hoarder.
