OAN, people are so low down. I was driving to P Terrys earlier and this woman was standing in the parking lot waving her hands next to her car with the caution lights on. I passed her at first but decided to go back just to see what the problem was. We were both wearing masks and she stood a ways back from my window but she said she had driven in from a city about an hour from here to see her friend who had the corona virus and was in the ICU at a local hospital. She needed to get a hotel room but her debit card was declined. I said right then I didn't have any money. Like really, really? How low can you go?

 

at this point though I could sleep anytime anywhere under any conditions. I am very proud of my restaurants owner and the front of house management team. We have been ahead of the curve and above standards in every facet of every step regarding covid. We are experiencing a bad covid spike here with the college kids not giving a F. We preemptively shut down all dining in inside or out and went back to contactless curbside only although no one has even suggested it be done let alone demand it again. We did it because it was the right thing to do and literally the health department is telling people to order from us if people choose to get food from anyone but it means I am back to literally doing 4 people’s jobs on top of mine because we can’t afford the labor cost of enough people. No rest for the humans who are trying to do right for other humans
