I love spiders. I keep a wolf spider in my basement named Steve and pet him sometimes. Good job Steve.

 

I never knew so many people were so afraid of spiders since you are likely to encounter them often in your house etc, Snakes I understand more since you come across them way less and they're generally bigger.

No, it’s not. I cringe every time I see "American Indian." It’s Native or Indigenous. They should get with the programs

I was helping out my sister-in-law with some yard work and she came across a spider and asked me to get the spider death spray from the shed. Could not find it among all the other sprays and stuff she had in the shed.

It turned out the reason I couldn't find it was because she'd taped a piece of white paper across the entire label to hide the picture of the spider (because, you know, scary spider pic to show it's a spider spray) as she was afraid of spiders and didn't like looking at the picture.

 

Agh, sorry, did not mean to put that bit in there. I'd forgotten I'd typed it earlier and it got included in my reply on spiders.

that one kinda irks me but the one that really pisses me off is the "white hispanic" one or not even having an option for hispanic/latinX
