Dude. Its crazy. I run a small business and I have customers come in with no mask and I have to nicely tell them to leave or put one on.

 

Do they get pissed off? I watched an old lady in Costco throw a temper tantrum about her rights 2 days ago.

 

Soooo those would both reduce your costs, but they are intermittent resources, which means you need a backup plan of some sort. That means another source of electricity for when the wind isn't blowing or the sun isn't shining, or else you need storage which is expensive.

Wind turbines also aren't very well suited for personal use, sadly. I like them, but you need high wind speeds and the topography makes an enormous difference.

Ya but it's also mandated by our county at least so I don't understand why they get mad at us like we are the ones doing it unilaterally.

 

You just get batteries that stores the power for when they aren't running. I knew a guy who had a couple of wind turbines, you can actually plug in and make the power company pay you for supplying them.

 

Sounds about right. You better not miss though or their horses will run you over.
