Not trying to grief you but the ip isn't checked on submission for a ton of protocols. Most embed it randomly throughout since qualtrics doesn't natively support some of the more popular methods academics have come up with. It's legit risky to do, if it's stored in their dataset and later uploaded or sent in anywhere you can't really undo it or explain it and there are at least 2 tools calling for "anonymous" submissions of datasets for curating/etc. And MTurk takes them as well AFAIK.
