    I take care of a CentOS environment at work and run Mint at home. Mint is somewhat removed from Ubuntu but not really - unless you run Debian Edition, in which case you can run into a bit of breakage depending on how much you fiddle (and what you define as breakage). I guess I'm getting too old and impatient to be fiddling with things all the time and am falling more into the "I want to set it up once and just have it work" camp.

    I will add that UEFI is a major pain regardless of what you run, including Windows.
    As long as we keep Leo LaPorte out of it, I'm happy. :emoji_smiley:

    I tried using Pop_OS! for a bit which made the Ubuntu thing bearable (also no snapd, hooray!), but in the end I went back to Manjaro/Arch based because...who knows, I just felt better there. I made a pit stop in Solus land for a week or so but had major concerns about the size of the dev team there.
