Honestly, the only thing that makes me feel better about my descent into cat lady-dom is knowing that my dogs have also been suckered into the madness. The cats use them as pillows, steal their toys, and sometimes slap them for no good reason and the dogs still get all wiggly happy when the cats snuggle up to them like their personal sherpa blanket, cause they are pretty fuzzy and the purring is nice or whatever.

Oh man, you should see how defensive Sasha gets about her toys. She's lived with a lot of different cats over the years and her chow bowl and toys are totally off limits. Like she won't hurt a cat or anything, but somehow even if she's laying down in a different room she'll jump up and start barking if a kitty even thinks about it.

 

Luckily, we have more than enough toys, but loves to steal whatever toy Frank is playing with on occasion and he will give it back to ME but Frank is too scared to start shit with him, so he will just stare at you like the most pitiful human sized dog ever I'm 90% sure it's not even that Bearnie wants his toy to play with, he just wants to be a little dictator lol.
