My comment was in regard to the kid slapping the cup out of grandma's hand lol. But I hear you on the infantilizing (is that a word?). My mom to the nth degree. She has control issues though. You're not going to tell me when to go to sleep when I work and pay my own bills nor do I even live in your home. Ain't happening lady!

 

I was never a legit kid. I mean, there was a time I was legitimately a kid, but I was never legit. That was even the late 80’s and early 90’s when being legit meant something
