We had 7 hens at one point, and the red one (looks exactly like your profile pic) was definitely the leader of the pack. She would "dominate" all the others, and would even try to crow. Maybe ducks can be the same way...

 

I wish. Male ducks are known rapists. It's a very real and sad thing of the duck world. We got them from what was supposed to be an only female batch but I guess we lost that dice roll.

We got a rooster in our batch, and had to get rid of him. There was a local rescue group that took roosters and let them live out their lives on a big chunk of land. Somebody'll take him off your hands....

 

I'm looking into that but I'm not finding much in my local area. We're thinking that if we cull him that we'll make him into dinner.

@purplepotato I saw you did the CCI hit back in July. Did they send you the bonus of $8.XX? I have a feeling that it was bogus even though it didn't say that in the hit anywhere. They sent $1.30 which was the minimum described in the hit details along with "a total up to $11.30." If it's bogus, the hit is severely underpaid for the amount of effort required and the last section is completely deceptive.
