Okay, so I was gifted some old ass mugs that were stored under a house. They smell like mildew and exactly like the underside of that house. They are glass. They can't go in the dishwasher because of a design on them. I've hard washed them with dawn and hot water. Anyone got any tips? I have them soaking right now with hot water and dawn in hopes that might help.

 

Break them and use them for plants like you wanted.

squirt of dawn then fill with white vinegar. sticky but wet. works great for scrubbing shower tiles too

 

Vinegar and/or baking soda works for a lot of smells.
