Ugh... the timer for a survey I was doing ran out before I could finish it.

Would you guys send a message to the requestor, or should I just let it go?

 

If it's 50 cents probably just let it go. If it's 5 bucks, can't hurt to message them.

 

I tend to submit the task with my ID and then message the requester with the completion code, my ID and an explanation of what happened. I only do this on things about $5 though so

 

If you have the code I would, go ahead and message them. They will honor it or not, never hurts to try.

 

Yeah, it definitely wasn't 50 cents. And it was an unreasonable amount of work to not get paid for. I think I'll shoot them a message.

I guess with kpop, the music video is like half the fun, so it's pretty much a habit for me to watch the video with the song. A lot of the videos you post are really cute too. Some are a bit repetitive, so I'll watch a bit then let it play in the background.

 

I watch them like once to see what the song is about but other then that not really lol. I watch some of the kpop ones because the dances are great but most of the time I tab over to something else(mostly work) and just listen to the songs. I know some of the videos for the songs I drop can be a bit...graphic or heavy on darker themes. I would have never known it from the song itself lmfao

 

Watching videos? When I was in Kindergarten we had to practice diving under our desks and covering our heads with our arms when the civil defense sirens went off. Now that will protect you from a nuclear blast! I think it was once a week.

 

Yeah, they more or less sound pretty upbeat and happy, until a demon shows up and devours the town lol. I didn't think any of the videos you posted were overly graphic though.

FYI, I've done this for years for almost any survey that is close to running out on time, never had a single problem. It is a much easier way than contacting without submitting, which is something good to do if it's a $5 hit and you didn't submit it on time. Requesters, even newbies that can barely use the platform, can easily approve the survey you submitted with your ID. Some, but not all, requesters struggle mightily with issuing dummy hits or giving out a bonus to make up for doing the survey but not properly submitting a HIT, especially if it's to a worker they have no previous history with.

 

I had an issue a year or so ago where this exact thing happened. Ran out of time, e-mailed the requester, dude couldn't manage to set up a dummy hit and then just ghosted me so I dropped it. That's why I always do the ID submit in the last couple of seconds (10-15 seconds left) and an e-mail. Way safer imo and never had an issue since!
