    So all you smart folks
Assuming someone was limited to Laptop turking and was looking to acquire one in the $600 or less range.... What should I look for.

Anyone know if there is a quicker way to block with MTS. I'm in the hit finder, and I have to click the little "i" icon and then "block" and then "save". I'm suspecting there's maybe a quicker way?? Thanks.

I'm not the smart folks but I like my Dell laptop and it was in that price range. (I've had a few and they usually last pretty long.) I bundled it a year ago with a second big monitor and Office and all the yada yada and was still a good deal.

I think if you pop in during the day there will probably be a lot of people that would weigh-in on their systems and ram and bits and bytes and stuff that I really don't know about.

Heya! I'm not actually sure if there is a quicker way - because I work in a similar way - but bumping this up here because I'm sure folks will have some shortcuts.....

If no one answers tonight try in the morning and you'll probably find someone with a quick solve :)

Are you looking for any particular style of laptop? Chromebook, thin and light, 2-and-1, gaming, or just a normal one?

Honestly 99% of the time its going to be a tabletop rig, I am just limited on space and can't do a desk top. Pretty much looking for ugly/bulky but super functional best bang for the buck. 99% of it's purpose will be turking. But like if I could also play Runescape and Minecraft that would be cool.

with what you said, id skip a chromebook for sure, look at business grade dells at the outlet (or ebay or your other site of choice) most you can get fairly cheap and they tend to last forever (my workstation one has fallen down multiple flights of steps over its lifetime and no issues)

I second whoever said that you should try to get at least 8gb of ram. I also recommend an i3 or i5 processor. I'm sure you know how much storage you need. Try looking at laptops with these specs at any of the top computer companies (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc).

If you want not so ugly and only slightly bulky, I have the Lenovo Yoga C740. Mine is a 15 inch, but I think the 13 or 14 inch ones are around $600.
Lenovo usually has pretty good discounts this time of year. Let me know if you want more info.
