hell nah. I almost literally reached through the phone to slap it out of his hands when he grabbed that box of nails. Nope nope nope, that’s a no from me dog

 

yeah sooner or later that kid is going to hammer his fingers

I'm all about letting kids hurt themselves to learn. I mean like, I found out irons are hot by ironing my foot.
I think danger is good for kids to a point. I think getting hurt is a teacher.

 

I don’t fully disagree but there is a level of and line between appropriate for age and dangerous disregard

 

That's fair and I think it depends on how developed your child is at each point! Every parent knows their children and what they are willing to allow!

 

I'm 25 and my brain is like HAVEABABYHAVEABABYHAVEABABYHAVEABABYHAVEABABYHAVEABABY so it's kinda hard to ignore lmfao. Cute baby videos make my brain go BABBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYY and I have to be like 'no brain, I'm poor as fuck, I don't wanna do that to a kid' lmfao.

 

I don't have kids, but I feel like if they are too young to comprehend a verbal lesson, a physical one doesn't do much good. If they are old enough to heed their parents warning, then they don't need a physical one... though I might feel differently if I had a few of my own
