So let me give a little back story on this guy. He was an owner surrender from a VERY abusive home (pretty sure owner didn't have a choice) at the beginning of November. We absolutely didn't have any plans to get another since Phoenix is kinda a dick, but I told my husband if he was still at the shelter at christmas we were getting him (I never dreamed he would still be there). Well they posted this today:



So I stuck my head outside and asked my hubs would you be mad if we got another dog? He barely managed to get what out before the kiddo and I were in the car and:



Meet Comet (he's gotta have a christmas name). The poor pup is scared of EVERYTHINGGGGGGGG so we've got some rehab ahead of us, but he'll wake up christmas morning in a real HOME for the first time in his life.
